Curses to you Burton!

Every season I look forward to seeing the new Burton product. In my opinion, Burton is still the top brand in the snowboarding industry. Sure some of their board graphics are crap. Yeah, all their high-tech cool boards are too narrow for me. And it’s true I still don’t like that their bindings don’t feature moveable heelcups. With all those “problems”, I still look forward to seeing what they come out with.

It seems every season snowboard companies release their new product lines earlier and earlier. Ride Snowboards introduced their new site/product lines about a month ago. Capita teased internerders for a couple days and then released the new site/product lines. mmm, I wonder when Burton will update their site?

A couple weeks ago I started seeing promos that the new Burton site was “dropping” 08/02…a.k.a. August 2. I was looking forward to 8/2 just for the new Burton site. Imagine my disappointment when 8/2 comes around only to find a new bg graphic and the text “coming soon…don’t touch that mouse”. No new product. No new features. I feel jipped. The new Burton site…not like there’s anything worth seeing, yet.

    I’m determined to not write a new entry until product is viewable! Not that I have a bunch of topics to mention, but I hope it’s not too long of a wait…

    Still no Burton product. I’d expect this delay from Capita or Mervin (Lib Tech, Gnu), but not Burton. And I must say both Capita and Mervin have their new products available for viewing. mmm…

    Yeah, it’s up, but now i’m too lazy to write a new entry. ha.

    Thank you Burton for finally putting up your gear though…the site looks nice and the boards look good.
