Compaq was sick again Thursday. I turned it on and a pop-up appeared saying that Windows couldn’t load my user profile. Instead it loaded a ‘temporary’ or generic user desktop. I could see my program icons like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Gaim were there, but nothing in my folders. No photos, mp3s, videos…no files at all. [...]
