I rolled out of my sleeping bag today a little before noon. I don’t normally sleep in a sleeping bag, but I do when visiting people in MN, which is where I am. I walked through the kitchen to the fridge and grabbed my preferred breakfast of deli turkey sandwich and bottled water. On the table was the newspaper. I don’t normally read newspapers, but what the hell, I’ll have a go.

The first thing I noticed was Matt Birk showing off the new Vikings uniforms at Mall of America. I’m not a big fan of the game, but when asked what’s my favorite team the word ‘Vikings’ always comes out…well sometimes I’ll say Denver Broncos. Anyways, the new Vikings uniforms are out and according to a full-page ad in the paper they are only available at select stores in the Mall of America April 28-30. Of course starting in May they’ll be available everywhere, but if you need one this weekend, only Mall stores have them. Why would someone get a new jersey before the Draft where Vikings will maybe get their next superstar?

Scrolling down the front page I see a little “Did you know” section. One point mentioned is that the new Nintendo system coming out will officially be called Wii. That’s pronounced “Wee” if you need. For a gaming system the name kinda sucks. But the word Weeee is so fun to say I might just have to get one. Ha yeah, spend a couple hundred on something cause I like the name, I’d never do that…or have I? I dunno.

    Speaking of ‘Sota things, I finally got to play with the PEBL. This phone is a runner up to the Wii in terms of dumb names for things. However, the phone itself is really cool, and I love the outer material. Just thought I’d share because I know that you were into it.

    One time while at M.O.A. me and PDF stopped at the T-Mobile shop and played with PEBL. I liked the pics I had seen on websites, but that’s when it truly became my favorite mobile tele. Yes the outer material is kick ass…it’s the same as part of my Compaq.

    I agree PEBL isn’t a very good name. I’m not fond of RAZR either, even though I now have one. I prefer calling it a V3c, which confuses the hell out of people.
